2008 - 2009
Construction Content Company - Developing Online Community -
Consulting project to asist in design and development of an online community for the construction industry, including SaaS technology, SOA architecture, and sophisticated web services to bridge the transition for Client-Server solutions to On Demand solutions for their community.  Provided consulting services and development resources to build their new product platform. The project completed in May 2008 and is scheduled to be introduced to the construction market in July 2008.

2005 - 2007
Technology Company - Developing Online Community - Consulting project to asist in design and development of an online community including SaaS technology, SOA architecture, and sophisticated web services to bridge the transition for Client-Server solutions to On Demand solutions for their community.

York Automation - New Technology Development - Early stage development of remote monitoring security devices using solar panels for powering remote storage containers sensing devices.  Working with M2M companies in developing protocols and communication requirements for environmental sensing, notification, and signaling for security devices using very low power consumption derived by solar power.  Pro-actively polling from a managed data center to wake up the device, capture responses and enter back into "low power consumption state".  Responses include tempature readings, security status, GPS locations,  current power storage levels.

Estimation Group UK  Product Portfolio - This was a two year consulting project starting with the strategic design and development of Estimation LTD's new product portfolio.  It consisted of developing a 3 tier platform offering for the construction industry in the UK. New technology was developed to provide seemless data subscriptions and automated "Live Updates" to the end users.  An introductory Estimating package was developed for the low end of the market that allowed customers to register for free and begin to use Estimation technology on demand. As designed in the overall product portfolio, as the customer required more sophisticated functionality, Estimation's product portfolio provides a clear migration road map to the appropriate software solution. 


UK Company, Corporate Technology Due Diligence and IT Infrastructure Analysis Update - This project assisted a Solihull based software company in updating their original Due Diligencee and IT Infrastructure Analysis Documents. We identified all the new the internal processes used by the technology departments and included the business process diagrams that have been implemented since 2004. We have updated all the statistical information on how the customer base has increased and their ability process on demand transactions by use of their new IT infrastructure.  These significant improvements have increased Estimation Group's user base from 2000 to well over 6000 customers. 



Maryland Base Electrical Contracting Firm - Functional Specification - We developed a functional specification to redefine the business process for managing Service Maintenance Schedules.  The specification included a business process flow chart along with identified technology improvements.  Resources were associated each aspect of the project and additional technologies were identified for future automation migration.  The project also included the use of thermal imaging devices and the ability to wrap thermal imagery into individual customer service maintenance documents.  By capturing the engineering detail, the Electrical Contractor provides the customer timely maintenance and uptime protection for all their electrical equipment in their facility.


2003 - 2004

Estimation Inc's, Logistics' Resource Library - The project consisted of using XML and RSS (Real Simple Syndication) technology to enhance their construction relational database. It automatically pulls information to a desktop or network application and categorically sorts information by the appropriate business process. It allows the software author to automatically push software updates, training aids, and news and information directly to each licensed user of the product.


UK Company, Corporate Technology Due Diligence and IT Infrastructure Analysis - This project assisted a Solihull based software company in establishing their future technology needs and how they currently rate with similar companies their size.  We identified the internal processes used by the technology departments and recommended several "Best Practices" to be implemented within the next year.  Along with this due diligence we assisted their R&D team in identifying the requirements for upgrading their IT infrastructure to accommodate the strategic growth plan they have for the next two years.
